Why use a Chemical Injection Pump made outside the US to produce your oil and gas?
Can you allow your valuable natural gas to be lost?
Can you afford to deal with environmental fines when sour gas escapes to the atmosphere?
Do you currently use an electric pump that is not dependable or safe?
Wouldn't you like to spend less time and money repairing high maintenance electric pumps?
Do you want better control over the gas you use to drive your injector, and fatten your bottom line?

CheckPoint's GREEN Series (Gas Recovery Environmentally Efficient Now) addresses all these concerns and pains. Save 100% of your emitted gas through CheckPoint's patented GR feature which recoups gas emissions for all your recovery applications, ultimately keeping it out of the atmosphere, and improving your profits. Built 100% in the USA to handle harsh conditions such as H2S (all components are NACE MRO 175 compliant), CheckPoint GREEN re-routes and recovers against significant recovery system back pressure as high as 170 PSIG. No other injection pump can offer this benefit.
What the EPA Says
As announced by the EPA, standards have been proposed "to reduce harmful air pollution from oil and gas drilling operations". Understanding that natural gas continues to be a driving contributor to the future of energy in the United States, eliciting such standards aims to improve the efficiency of oil and gas production with zero emission requirements, as well as reducing its hazardous byproduct which affects people's health.
What This Means For You
Though the new standards are scheduled to go into effect in 2012, it is crucial NOW to convert your pneumatic injection systems to CheckPoint's Gas Recovery (GR) option in order to be compliant with all EPA's pending updated air pollution standards. Not only will this conversion impact your bottom line by salvaging ALL gas that previously escaped into the atmosphere, the related instances of emitted greenhouse gases, smog, and cancer risks will reduce significantly, allowing your operations to further expand elsewhere in the US.
CheckPoint's GREEN is available on all new and existing CheckPoint Series 1250, Series 1500, Series K, Series 6200, Series 5400 and Series 8400 chemical injection pumps. This option ties together the supply gas vent ports on the pump motor, enabling recovery or re-routing of all exhausted supply gases. This feature is specifically intended for oil and gas producers who use natural gas to drive their pneumatic chemical injectors.
Typical recovery applications
- Returning exhaust gas to a gas compressor inlet
- Feeding existing pneumatic instrument or control systems
- Re-routing gas outside of sealed enclosures
- In sour gas conditions, recovering exhausted sour gas to a separate H2S scavenger system (all pump components are NACE MRO 175 compliant)
- Running catalytic gas heaters
- Venting to a flare stack header
- Re-injecting driver gas on odorization systems
If you use natural gas to run your injector
- Route GR exhaust to a lower-pressure gas system as in the examples above, OR
- Route GR exhaust gas outside an enclosure where natural gas buildup must be prevented. A GR pump will work for less than an equivalent electric pump and is intrinsically safe.
