Job Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
· Creates layout, detail, and documentation of mechanical design parts and assemblies,
· Prepares complete and accurate drawings from sketches or notes with minimal instruction,
· Determines and obtains required info and details to develop assigned designs – independently as needed,
· Documents designs to facilitate the manufacture of products (including drawings, bills of materials, material specs and design files),
· Collaborates with Design Engineers and Production to facilitate the manufacture and assembly of prototype equipment,
· Works with R & D drafting team to establish consistent documentation and organization of drawings and files.
Qualified Applicants will have experience with, but not limited to:
· High School diploma or equivalent,
· 2-4 years drafting experience using SolidWorks,
· Ability to apply thorough knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes and regulations (ASME Y14.5) relevant to a variety of custom manufacturing projects,
· Ability to perform variety of designs from basic to complex items,
· Strong information technology skills,
· Knowledge of BOM part numbering, revision tracking and drafting standards,
· Ability to work in team-based environment,
· Working knowledge of drilling and/or pumping operations preferred.
